BIM in the United Kingdom

In this article, the author explains how the UK government’s construction strategy covers far more than just BIM or “shared structured information,” as the Brits prefer to say. It is built on the premise that Central Government must be a better client. This intention has been developed into eight areas of focus, which are explained in the article and touch on goals that include communications, cost benchmarking, efficiency, and encouraging innovation.
