Perception Based Architecture for Contemporary Health Care Design

A design firm was invited to develop a prototype for the ICU unit of the future. The construction of the prototypes was finished at the Charité Campus Virchow-Klinikum in Berlin, Germany. A team of scientists and doctors is monitoring the outcome and long-term effects of the rooms as part of a three-year research program.
