Does a Green Building Need a Green Lease?

• LEED buildings have a 4.1 percent higher occupancy rate and Energy Star buildings have 3.6 percent higher occupancy than non-certified buildings. LEED buildings sell at $171 USD more per square foot and Energy Star sell for $61 USD per square foot more than non-certified buildings.

This Article will begin by explaining the rudiments of resource efficiency, and will build upon that foundation with a discussion on the Greening of buildings, assessed through a focused analysis of Green lease issues.
