Building Enclosure Commissioning Education

This presentation outlines the basics of a five-day course on building commissioning that is being offered through the Building Enclosure Councils (BECs) of the National Institute of Building Sciences and the American Institute of Architects. It explains the industry standards for commissioning and specifically Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx), as well as the process for BECx and the roles of the Building Enclosure Commissioning Provider (BECxP) and the Building Enclosure Commissioning Specialist (BECxS). It also details the testing programs involved in the different levels of BECx.
